Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Nexa Sports ("Nexa Sports", "we", "us", or "our") is a specialized sports consultancy and brokerage firm. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data openly, lawfully, and securely.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights available to you when you visit our website or interact with us.
2. What Data We Collect
Personal data you provide directly: your name, email address, company or team name, phone number, and the contents of any message you send us — for example, through our Contact or Careers forms. Career applicants may also provide a CV and details of their professional background.
Automatically collected data — only if you accept Analytics cookies: browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location, collected via Google Analytics as described in Section 4.
Note on IP addresses: like virtually all websites, our servers necessarily process your IP address for every request as a basic, unavoidable part of how the internet works — for example, to prevent abuse of our forms through rate limiting. This routine server operation is not a tracking or profiling activity, does not require consent, and is separate from the IP-level data Google Analytics may collect for analytics purposes once you've accepted Analytics cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
To respond to inquiries submitted through our Contact form and to evaluate applications submitted through our Careers form.
To improve our services and website — only with your consent, using the Analytics data described below.
To send you relevant information about our services — only with your consent.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files (or, in our case, an equivalent browser local storage entry) placed on your device to store information, such as your preferences, between visits. Some cookies are essential for a website to work; others are used to understand visitor behavior or support advertising.
We categorize the cookies and similar technologies we use as follows.
Strictly Necessary — no consent required
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent / cookie-preferences | Nexa Sports (first-party, browser local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice and category preferences so we don't ask again on every visit. | Persistent, until you clear it or change your preference |
| Session & security storage | Nexa Sports (first-party) | Supports core site functionality such as form submission and abuse/rate-limit prevention. | Session or short-lived |
Analytics — consent required
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) | Google LLC | Helps us understand site traffic and usage patterns. Only loaded if you accept Analytics cookies. | Up to 2 years |
Marketing — consent required
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta/Facebook Pixel (_fbp) | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Measures the performance of our advertising. Only loaded if you accept Marketing cookies. | Up to 90 days |
We ONLY set Analytics and Marketing cookies AFTER you have given us explicit consent. Nothing in these categories loads by default, and rejecting them (or simply not making a choice) keeps them off.
You can review or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of our website.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (for example, via "Cookie Preferences" in our footer) without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
6. Your Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, evaluate an application, or satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Analytics and Marketing cookie data is retained according to the durations listed in the table in Section 4.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure hosting infrastructure, and restricting access to personal data to those who need it to perform their role.
9. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise your rights, or have any other privacy inquiry, please contact us at privacy@nexasp.com.
10. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
